Region Map

Region map is the 2nd map in WHW. The region map will vary base on the geography of the World map. Each region map is made up by a grid of hex. The size of the region map will vary. Sea region can not be controlled by any nation. When a nation controls over 50% of a region, that region will become a part of that nation’s territory.

Example of Land Region Deployment

Any player from the controlling nation of a region can deploy troops to defend an area within the region by tapping on a hex grid. In this case, Germany is the defending nation. Any player from Germany, can deploy units to any area in this region.

Players from non-controlling nation may deploy to an area in a region only if it controls the adjacent region or there is/are deployed units in the region from the same non-controlling nation. In this example, Russia control regions that are adjacent to this region on the top right, bottom right and bottom. Russian players can only deploy units with neon green border which is along the edges on the top right, bottom right and right.

Players from non-controlling nation may only deploy units on to an area within the region with neon green border. When a player from non-controlling nation deploys unit to an area in a region, the surrounding area around that deployment will become deploy-able.

A contested area will have contesting nation’s emblem cycled continuously. Any player from the contesting nations can view the contested area by simply tapping on the hex. Only players with units deployed in the area may take turns.

Example of Sea Region Deployment

Sea region can not be controlled by any nations.

However, you can only deploy to an area that is adjacent to a region to your nation’s territories.
